Sporting Opportunities at East Tāmaki School

At East Tāmaki School we strive to create active minds and bodies. East Tāmaki School is a part of the Ōtara Sports Cluster, which gives the students the opportunity to participate in a range of sports including soccer, touch, rippa, basketball, cricket, volleyball and netball. 

We encourage active learning using our bike track and sports equipment during break times. East Tāmaki School has outside providers come into school from Counties Sports and Counties Community Sports to deliver fine motor skills learning for our junior students and athletics-based skills for our senior students.

Our senior school students also participate in swimming lessons annually to develop our tamariki into safe users in and around water.
